ViaCon supports Brave Kids project, a great artistic initiative that started ten years ago in Wroclaw. This year Poland hosts kids from Columbia, Salvador, India, Kazakhstan, Estonia, Peru, South Korea, Kenia, Palestine and Georgia. The young representants of various countries and diverse backgrounds have a great opportunity to express themselves and their culture. Many of them derive from poor or socially excluded communities. Some of them are orphans, partly disabled or traumatized by political and social conflicts. By collaborating around a performance project, the participants develop the ability to communicate, learn to understand difference and celebrate common experience. The project helps children to make positive steps towards transformation in their own lives and in their communities in the long-term.
The event is held under the patronage of UNESCO. The official website of Brave Kids: http://www.bravekids.eu/en/p/idea
